have given me hope, I will persevere!

Hi,
I am pleased my submission has provided others to make a comment.
Firstly, I used Moose on my XP computer and it worked well.
However, when I tried to use it on my W.H.S. (V.1.) it just would not
work. That's not unusual, as it seems to me you take pot-luck as to
what works and what does not.

I've had problems with squeezeplay and sbs on a win7 64 bit machine at
a friends house. Squeezeplay won't connect to server although

Hi,
Yes I tried and I tried, without success. If I had my music on the
computer or an attached drive, there was no problem, but with the music
on the network W.H.S. it was no-go, no matter what I did. In fact my
hair turned grey (no some of it was grey already, just some more added

r32453 fixed it for SP & Radio (but did not fix the issue for the web

I've used both 7.5.x and 7.6 SBS and using 7.6 SqueezePlay. Using MSE
virus. Have no 24/96 files. All flac and mp3.

Have you tried the most obvius a clean install, without your special

That's what I'm going to try next, although the whole

Hi
I had a Qnap that ran with Linux. It was not my best buy ever. I
didn't get along with Linux at all, it wasn't difficult to find the
first window to throw the box out of!
As for dealing with Qnap support.!.
I will give your suggestions some consideration and I hope this

OK - so MNYB was correct; SP+SBS on same machine is fine if:
1) no transcoding
2) transcode via SOX
3) transcode via Inguz
However, unlike (for example) the Touch, SP + SOX AND Inguz and SBS all
on the same PC doesn't work - just rebuffers every 13 seconds. It's not
a CPU or network issue. It loo
I'm having the same issue. I added password protection so I could use
the new SqueezePlayer to stream on 3G (which works now), but the
SqueezePlay 7.5.3 r0 that I use to stream to my office laptop no longer
allows me to log onto SBS. Any ideas? Please advise. Thanks.

SBS 7.5.4
SP (and players based on it) is notoriously bad at handling password

Could this be the same as this:

Thanks. I seem to have found a workaround. I opened the password
protected SBS remotely from my browser while SqueezePlay was open (but
not signed in properly) and hit play from there. I'd rather not have
to do that, but it works.
