My other mediaservers all point at the same media sources (ie My
Pictures, My Videos and My Music). So, on that basis I wouldn't think
it has anything to do with non standard data in the media files as all
the other media servers work. Unless of course it is an issue LMS has
with non standard

That's what I said previously - the clients can see the LMS but cannot
browse it.

testing LMS snd found the problem, but I guess no one noticed it. The
logging was done while I tried to access my test LMS server with WMP.

Michael, the event log viewer in both the clients and the server
double checked the event logs and no new messages are logged in the
server or in either of the Windows clients. As I said before, if I
start Whitebear on top of the LMS server, I can see and play tracks
from the music library in that server. Where else can I look? Have you

If you've updated from 7.6 then you'll probably need to remove the
existing library.db from your cache.

7.7 release is currently tentatively scheduled for late September/early
October with RC1 planned for mid-September.
Will there be 7.6.x updates before then, and/or in parallel to 7.7 development?
There's still a lot to be fixed before I start to use 7.6 for daily use, let
alone 7.7!
If necessary we can do a 7.6.2 but nothing is planned right now. I am
not aware of any really serious bug fixes in 7.6.2 yet.

I should say that yes, 7.6/trunk will still get bug fixes and they will
roll up to 7.7 as usual. I just wanted to update everyone on the status

I have several DLNA clients on my iPhone (Plugplaye, iMedia etc etc)
and none of them can browse LMS7.7. The clients see LMS as a Media
Server but cannot browse it.
The same issue exists when trying to browse using WMP or MediaMonkey on
