I should also add that the BD-D5700 has no problem playing audio flac
content offered up via DLNA by this version of LMS.

I also agree that developping this DLNA server is really a strange idea
and I cannot understand where
Better for the Revue and Squeezebox if the Revue had a Squeezebox client
for music using SBS, allowing full Squeezebox functionality, and a
separate DLNA Server licenced from a 3rd party.
Some major things missing from the DLNA Server are:
- Lack of comprehensive transcoding to/from video formats
Unfortunately we don't know what the "bigger picture" is.
At least if SBS/LMS is being used in someway for the Revue, then
time/money is being spent on it and it has a future.
If the powers that be decide to drop LMS for an off-the-shelf package,
then who knows what would happen.
