I agree it's a perfect solution, if the NAS is powerful enough, but
most normal people don't have a NAS and won't buy one
What's the download running on? It's so slow that the release date will
have come and gone before I get a chance to try this!

upnp/dlna is simply not good enough .
In a dream world there would be a "super dlna standard" and every one
could just pick and match media players and UI front ends and servers
