Ok, we could stop it here, I finally found the reason. Just to explain: It's been the offline synchronization from Windows 8.1 - it was turned on automatically when I once started a download to my NAS-HDD and it was turned off - after deactivating this and rebooting my PC - LMS is quick again. Thanks for all You ideas - maybe this is helpful for anyone else experiencing similar problems with his NAS! :-)
