I requested this ability in the web UI many years ago, so that you could
easily play a single disc from a multi-disc set.

Don't see why 'treat multiple discs as multiple albums' isn't the
consensus we probably end up with.

Because then you clutter your album list with multiple instances of an
album. Also, you might want an option to still easily play all. Which
the API would still have by simply omitting the CD number.

OK, that would be nice as in JJZolx proposal. If 'treat multiple
disc-sets as a single album' is set, atleast show the disc option when
drilled down to the album in the left pane.
