could you please take this to a different (Spotify related) thread? I
doubt this is a 7.9 issue only. Please strip your system down to the
bare minimum, no additional plugins, in particular neither Triode's nor
my Spotify Protocol Handler. Disable the MusicIP plugin (if you don't

Yes, my apps are connected to LMS. I can also play/control my local
music collection with them.

I did a bit more testing and found out that Spotify works via app
(Orange Squeeze), though I had to delete and re-configure my Spotify
account on

I doubt we have lots of occurrences of "aluminium" in our strings. But
if you find anything in our UIs you consider
invalid/inappropriate/wrong, please tell me where you see it, what it
says, and what you'd expect to see. Thanks!
