Jason, I've had a similar problem with restarting the SqueezeCenter service. Try the following command on your SqueezeCenter machine: sc \\localhost start squeezesvc This is a lot closer to issuing a "start" command in the Services snap-in, and in contrast to "net start", it works perfectly here.
