this work, the
'added' column was storing the file's modification timestamp instead of
the time when the file was originally added. I had to fix this in order
to get the scanner to work right for new files. Hopefully this will not
cause any issues with plugins.

Make sure you aren't configured to use the SN Test server, it may happen
there.
Check server.prefs for the use_sn_test pref and remove it.

Since it happens on random files, there's no guarantee that a copy of
someone's library would reproduce the problem on another machine
either. JJ why don't you help by testing the builds in the bug?

certain ratios without needing to load the entire image. So no matter
how large the JPEG is, it will be efficient to get a resized version.
Unfortunately PNG has no such feature.

This change was because we used to ignore non-ascii chars too, a side
effect of that fix is that you now get 2 different genres or artists.
At least it's now easy to determine where you need to fix your tags.

Sorry, no ideas. The only thing in SBS that should use multiple cores
right now is the discovering phase of scanning. The actual scanning is
single-threaded.

Thanks for investigating. The giflib library is not built correctly on
7.6 for Touch yet, so that's almost certainly the problem. It's on my

JRMC works now with r31869. There seems to be an issue in the JRMC HTTP
client, it sends all POST requests with 2 null bytes at the end, which
our XML parser doesn't like. I added a workaround.

I cannot reproduce this at all. Tested 7.6 on Win7 with Moose on the
same Win7. SBS was configured to read some MP3s off a network share
that have Japanese characters for the artist name. Everything displays
perfectly in Moose.

I didn't do anything special for IP binding, so I am not sure.
It is only a server, no client. The other UPnP client is unrelated and
frankly needs to be thrown out.

Hmm normally it logs the filename but it will log data if the artwork
is embedded and can't be accessed directly, but this shouldn't be the
case with FLAC. Is your library 100% FLAC?
You can enable artwork debug for more info.

Those are only seen with artwork debug on, they are just info messages,
not warnings. They just appear that way because of how the resizer code
is implemented.

OK the problem is the Exif code didn't work properly, your Exif tag has
a 10K thumbnail and it wasn't being read into the buffer. Will be
fixed in the next version.

Audio::Scan 0.85 is in tonight's 7.6 nightly and calculates MD5 from the
middle of the file. It also supports an md5_offset option. Please give

MD5 is fine, the problem is the first 1 bytes of these files are
identical. I think the easiest way to deal with it is to not take the
bytes from the very beginning of the file but from somewhere in the
middle.

You really have to be careful benchmarking scan times. The reason is
because your OS will cache much of the data from your audio files on
disk to RAM so your second scan can be a lot faster than your first.
