Sorry - nevermind, jumped the gun. I figured out that the firmware on
the radio needed updating. Usually it tells me this. For some reason I
didn't get the message until I tried to syncronize with another device.
Then the firmware upgrade message came up.

log. I did a reinstall of the radio firmware - listed as 7.4.1 r7915 -
to no avail.
