I upgraded from 7.0 to 7.0.1 and it wouldn't start. The error logged is
below. This plugin doesn't appear to be referenced in any of my prefs
files and isn't present in the Plugin directory. I created an empty
Plugin/PreventStandby/strings.txt file to work around the problem.
This is on FC5 upg

Please wipe the plugin-data.yaml file from your cache folder and try again.

I don't see why this should happen - we should only load strings that
are found on disk not that are referenced in the instal.xml files - has
something changed in this area. This will be a problem for others
upgrading?

If plugin-data.yaml is still referncing the plugin, install.xml isn't read. The
question rather is why it didn't forc
yes but we don't use install.xml for finding string files... (well we
didn't)
I've fixed reparsing the files on these conditions in 7.1 but the fix
is not in 7.0 - I was waiting for feedback on the fix - I guess we can
consider it ok..
