A updatre on why SqueezeCenter woule not scan my muisc. I have some
Japanese music, and the titles use japanese characters. I think it is
failing on these tracks. It worked with the previuos versions.

I bought an HP SmartServer, and switched from using my PC for
Squeezecenter to using the SmartServer. I installed Squeezecenter for
windows home server version 7.4 (the MSI file) Everything runs OK, but
I cannot compete a music scan. It fails a halfway through, and I only
get half my albums. Her

You guys are awesome. Thans for getting to the bottom of this.
I deleted the artwork cache then did a complete rescan. This following
the change to the virus protection exceptions.
Yay - all artwork everywhere now

Did you configure it to ignore those files? Even when "turned off" some AV
systems never really stop doing their job.

I'll second Mnyb's comment about antivirus. It's a well known issue with
McAfee, lesser known with others.

One must make exceptions in the antivirus software for *.myi and *.myd
files (*.my* files ).

One anomaly though that I jut can't figure out.
On all of my Duet controllers I get no album art ANYWHERE. NOT in the
album list or the now playing. I just get the default music symbol.
