I've got the latest SC (SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0.1 - 17491 - Debian -
EN - utf8) and in Firefox the scroll-wheel no longer scrolls the
Advanced Settings drop-down list and there is no scroll-bar on the rhs
of the browser window. The only way to scroll the list now seems to be
arrow keys.

The scroll bar on the rhs will now allow the list to scroll (previously
it vanished if you clicked away). Thanks for the enhancement!

That's fine for anything visible in the list, my problem is that the
list is too long
The latest version of SC has a new layout for the Advanced tab on the
settings page. On this page, there is a drop-down list (see image) to
select which settings you want to see/modify. This list is a little
tricky to use on firefox. As far as I can tell, you have to click on
the drop-down box
