Seems like the alarm is failing because the server is having problems
with the first item in the playlist by Sigur Ros. Seems the 7.6 scanner
still can't cope with Scandinavian music.
However, instead of moving on to the next item, like Winamp would do,
the alarm just fails to go off.

I only use SC with local music. No internet related malarkey.
The playlist that failed at 6:50am is the same one used every day since
I got the Boom.
The same playlist worked at 7:00am.
I'm gonna do a few more tests tonight as I was late for work earlier
this week and need a reliable alarm cloc
I am using fw 54 and my weekday alarm is at 6.45am and it works every
day. The weekend alarm is on the half hour and it has worked OK as
well.
I think it is unlikely to be fw related - the chosen "alarm sound" can
affect whether an alarm plays or not.
What alarm sound do you use ?
Are you usin
Will se tomorrow I'm 99% sure my 5:50 alarm works ? will be 100%
tomorrow.
Do you use mysqueezebox.com or local server ?
Could be a difference in the build I use the linux rpm , some typos
don't get all of us ;)

Has anyone reported that alarms will not work for any time other than at
the top of the hour
i.e. my 6:50am alarm no longer works.
But 7:00am works
and the first time I overslept this week I tested the alarm at 6:00pm
and it worked.
This has only occurred since I upgraded to the FW54 release.
