I looked in the perl.crash log and found this. Looks more like an issue
with my machine as there's a Kernel Panic? I have absolutely no idea
what any of this means and whether anyone can even help with this.
7.0.1 continues to install ok. The log below is what I get after

Can you take a look in your
Home -> Library -> Logs -> SqueezeCenter -> server.log
file and see if there's any error messages there?

I can't get 7.1 to run. I've tried uninstalling my previous version
completely as per instructions on the forums, so there is no trace of
Squeezecenter left. Rebooted, installed the latest 7.1. Started the
server, when I observe Activity Monitor I can see Perl start up then
close down.
