I agree. Much better to use up/down to scroll through the text manually, than
get half way through some scrolling text and just when it's getting to the
interesting bit the

This has always been an issue, true. Thank goodness for the
Controller.
However, that does not stop the new solution being awful. Three words

I'm sorry but I disagree entirely. On the font size and display I'm
using it is now much, much harder to read. In fact it's all but
impossible:-(
