I too am having the same problem on Fedora 8

Not meaning to harp on about this, but today I upgraded to the latest
nightly squeezecenter-7.0-0.2.17259.noarch which exhibits exactly the
same problem making SC7 useless for me.

I should have made the point that mine scans nothing and adds no songs
to the catalogue. It's not some obscure error report which just looks
ugly, it completely prevents me from using SS7.

squeezecenter downloaded this morning. This is a completely new install
on a new machine of both Ubuntu and squeezecenter. I am also using a
