By way of the new version of Firefox, I've just discovered the existence
of the new SPDY protocol that Google is pushing. The advantage seems to
be that the browser can make many concurrent requests for content,
instead of sequentially downloading each page element.
We are big fans of SPDY and have thought about upgrading some of our
protocols to use it in the future. We see it more from the perspective
of helping MySB handle an increasing number of persistent connections,
but it would also be useful for LMS too.
