Hi,
7.8 is running very fine - with a slight exception, that the "nwe &
update scan" is incredibly slow since 1 or 2 nightlies, I'm using
r1387542508.
"Very" slow means - till then the update scan took about 20 minutes
(400.000 mp3-files, small updates) - now it takes more than 3 hours and

Check the scanner status: which step is taking that long?

Sorry, I forgot to mention:
It's only the first step
"Dateien/Verzeichnisse werden erkannt: \\MYBOOKLIVEDUO\Public\Shared

Actually it is running for 98 minutes and scanned "only" 245k
Did you recently add some music? Did you try to go back to the previous
version you consider faster? Anything in the log files?

Yes, as "usually" I added some 50 or 100 tracks.
Nothing special in the logs, I copied below - but they look the same as
the logs from previous vers

Maybe a stupid question:
How can I adress an ip-adress in the options in squeezebox server as a
media folder?
Usually it's C:\ oder C:\Music or in my case
\\MYBOOKLIVEDUO\Public\Shared Music
But it doesn't accept any IP adresses I think
Have you simply backed of a couple of version to see if it gets better

Ok, I hope this might not get out of topic, for meanwhile it seems to
me, as if I'm experiencing a problem concerning LMS with my Network HDD

I got back to another version th
A few ideas:
- Tried to list the files on your NAS-HDD from your LMS-PC (by OS means)
to see if that's slow as well?
BTW, which Win OS are you using?
- Check what Windows Update did to your system. If it's not too much you
might be able to revert the one or the other - or check what system

Memory Usage is about 3% (CPUI), disk I/O rate 0,1 MBit/s, network I/O
rate between 2,0 and
Ok, we could stop it here, I finally found the reason.
Just to explain:
It's been the offline synchronization from Windows 8.1 - it was turned
on automatically when I once started a download to my NAS-HDD and it was
turned off - after deactivating this and rebooting my PC - LMS is quick
again.
