But it's still listed twice. Whats going on here then? Am i tagging
them wrongly?
Without seeing the tags, it's hard to tell.. would it be possible to zip up
the entire directory so I could access it somewhere?

It's too big. It contains 19 tracks, each one is 2 hours long at decent
bitrates (although the bit rate does vary, it that has anything to do
with it). They are DJ mixes you see.

If i completely uninstall Slimserver and then reinstall (the same
version), after the first initial scan after the setup, the album is
only listed once.
It's only appears twice after i "Clear Library and rescan everything".
Does that offer a clue as to what is happening? Is the library not

Dan, i closed Slim.exe in task manager then ran the line you posted
above.
The command windows just sat there for ages, no error or syntax
message, like it was running but stalled. All the log contained was;

Ok.. was SlimServer up at that point?
Dan, i have edited the above post. I forgot to do the rescan. I ran it
again and the resulting log is above.

Well i just upgraded to 6.5b1 - 8734 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252
Now it get 5 albums with the same name! However, instead of listing the

I have just uninstalled and reinstalled SS. Yet again, after the first
initial scan everthing is perfect. If i do a 'look for new and changed
music' its still fine. It's not until i do a complete 'clear libaray
and rescan everything' that i get these problems with the double album
entry and the cu
I deleted the 'Cache' folder and started slimserve again. Everything was
fine after it build a new libaray. Clear & Rescan makes it all go to pot
again though.
Obviously the libaray is not being totally cleared, right?

Just added a couple new albums to my libray. The 'look for new music'
did not find the new stuff, i ran it 3-4 times.
I guess the scanner in this version is very broken.
