You probably accidentally added all the New Music tracks (which would be
everything after a rescan) - see

No, that was'nt it. Slimserver was ready and waiting to get commands.
When I walked through the New Music list and selected one album by
pressing 'play' once the total amount of New Music tracks would be
sended to the playlist IN REVERSED ORDER. More, I did not selected
'add' to playlist but
Well, download of the beta 10-23 did seem to work!
Case closed.
