It's SlimScrobbler that is preventing the rescan from running after the library
is cleared at startup.

Interesting. Without any third-party plugins loaded, I get the same effect of
the music library being wiped on startup, but slimserver then rescans the
library.
So some third-party plugin must prevent slimserver from doing the rescan if the
library is empty.
However, with or without the plugi
I posted a log with --d_scan and --d_import earlier. I've just run it again:

It only seems to drop the database content when I start the service up. It
doesn't seem to drop content if the content was loaded using Browse Music
Folder; only if I have performed a scan and then restart.
Logs from --d_import --d_scan would help.
I've just updated MySQL to v5.0.24, and I am rescanning to see if the issue

It's too late in the night now to be doing loads of full rescans, so I'll
investigate some more tomorrow.
I have a good

Okay, I moved all 3rd party stuff sideways and re-ran. I browsed music folder
to add a single album back and restarted. It

Just had a look in my MySQL DB. The track table only contains one row with the
following url:

Is that usual?

I just looked through the log for my last full scan and I found the following:
New music you just added?
I just checked in a change that will check on the BPM column.
