Installed 7.41-whs a while back, it has worked fine.
Today downloaded 7.42-whs. Uninstalled 7.41-whs.
On install of 7.42, got not enough disk space error. But I have lots
of disc space. This happened with install of 7.42 as an add-in, and also
when I tried to simply run the installer from

taking out the battery and then holding the volume up until the
program boots up when replacing it will cause a controller software

If by hard resetting you mean removing the battery, putting it back in
and re-entering my network, and wi-fi
I think it's important to stick with the beta to make sure it gets out
of beta some time soon. However, if you don't want the instability, I
totally understand. I'm a bit sceptical myself, especially considering
the WAF.

controller sees, but doesn't connect to my home network - it doesn't see
IPs DNS etc.
but my server and duet receiver still work wirelessly. I can play music
through the browser interface to SC on my server.

itunes playlists (which the non WHS version did ok).

I'm trying to use SC7.4 for WHS. I installed Rel. 7.4 - r28476 and SC
is scanning the music-folders. After a while I got an error that
grouping the artists was stopped for an unknown reason. In the
scannerlog there is a hint about the server cannot write a file. I don't
know what I can do

using one of my Booms...
Starting point: Logged into squeezecenter server
1. Chose mysqueezebox.com from menu
2. Boom switches to SN and turns Boom off (is this the intended
behavior?)
3. I turn the Boom on and can see that

After getting 28243, I have started seeing nightlys being pushed again.
28244 received as expected. Latest Controller firmware work as a charm
now.

That was probably a bad idea. I don't know what tha file is.
What exact installer file are you trying to install? 7.4 builds should
automatically change port if port 9000 is busy.
