I know, I know... it's very old! I want to run Softsqueeze on a Windows
Me box. I have Java OK (JRE 1.4.2 SE), but running up Softsqueeze tells
me that my computer doesn't have a sound card, so it just stops.
I do have a sound card...

Softsqueeze also fails to play back 44.1KHz/24 bit tracks - static is
all you hear, although static with a back-beat.
So I'll try the WAV transcode setting and see how it goes.

I'll bump this one up. I have 24/48 encoded audio (DVD audio track)
and Softsqueeze apparently plays it back at 44.1 because it's slow. So

Softsqueeze 3.3 is now available for slimserver 6.5 and trunk. It will
be in tomorrows (20 December) nightly builds.
This version of Softsqueeze is compatible with Java 6. In addition it
adds optional support for using the system tray on Windows.
