What's next? Anybody is working on #15209 now?
Would it be easier for Logitech to port fixes to 7.5 branch and release
a minor version there?

I agree. Is there any 7.5.2 release which has sqlite, like the embedded
7.5 branch used to be?

up :)
Any news?
What is the release ETA for 7.6 BTW?

If you do this the rolloff filter will always be the default.

That I don't know about, I have not checked if it's backported to 7.5.2
so, I guess I need that UNC path fix :(
or, you add a feature that you (try to) re-connect automatically drive.

When you double-click on the SBS icon, it does not open URL with the
wrong port, did not happen to anyone else? I have it in 80% of the
cases..
I simply do not know what can I do..
I opened bugs..
You'd be pretty hard pressed to find anything resembling what would be
typical release notes from what is an automated nightly build
system.
Just because there is a new version out doesn't even necessarily mean
there were changes made, and most changes made are noted in the
individual bug
Seriously, I do not use Windows Control Panel.
It is absolutely useless thing.. Not clear why was it added at all.. It
does not fit the design of Squeezebox..
What about fixing some stupid bug anyway, ahh?
And NAS?
I almost every day forget to refresh my drive mapping to NAS (NAS is
sleeping

Don't run 7.6 betas if you can't stand these quirks .
Maybe the 7.5.2 safe bugfix beta instead :)
the 7.6 is as they say a daily snapshot off the software as it is
developed it could brake any day and it's tested by us 7.6 beta users
so it can very well just not work one day, or some part could
Btw here you can read about whats added in each nightly build
http://svn.slimdevices.com/
It was recently broken and is extremely slow you have to double click
on links and sometimes hit stop in your browser and try again to make
the links work.
Example view here:

I am running it due to two important fixes by AndyG or Transporter
firmware (overvoltage + filter)

You can easily run 7.5.2 server with 7.6 Transporter firmware. Copy
the following two files from the server/Firmware directory of your
current 7.6.0 installation to a
thanks.
Will do if AndyG or anybody else will not reply.
If Logitech do not mind losing beta tester (what is the point in filing
bugs anyway), I do not either..

I don't have a transporter .
You have to decide the convenience of a not so experimental server :)
versus actually using one the experimental features long
I install every time a new build offered me by the SBS.
Shall I?
I see my bugs are there.
Can I at least see release notes? What's new in every build?

You could go here and watch each addition to the build(s)

But its has broken down
Hi developers,
I reported back few bugs:

http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16457
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16458
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16459

Don't even bother with the Windows Control Panel thing. It's always a
little buggy and doesn't do anything you can't do with less trouble in
other ways. If you want to open the web interface (and do so at the
correct port) just create a bookmark in your browser.
Auto-scanning in 7.6 doesn't
I know...
Yet, some other things reported are annoying, and they worked before.
RE: MySQL - why not disable it? Why not to put appropriate defaults for
the installation so Squeezebox will work out of the box?

Pretty sure SQLite is the default for 7.6.x out of the box.
Unless it's not a clean install, it which case I believe it'll just use
whatever you had configured previously.
I could be wrong though...

I've tried several times to migrate from 7.5.x to 7.6, and it's not worked.
Not sure from memory, but I think it does

I'm not sure if you realize it, but 7.6.0 is beta
Doesn't make any difference. Username and password aren't used for
SQLite, so they're just ignored.
WebUI security credentials apparently cause problems with the scanner.
