Even in 6.5 I've had problems with SoftSqueeze had problems with some
mp3 podcasts which play ok on an SB3.

That's odd, ignore the AlienBBC bit I just trying to get the BBC podcast
parsing working with v7. If I enter the stream
"http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/fivelive/books/books_20071108-1733.mp3";
in to tune in it doesn't play. I don't know if it matters but I am using
SoftSqueeze.
