Revision 768 of OpenCollada builds fine on Linux. I've mistakenly specified
766 in the wiki. Sorry for that. What problems do you have with include
paths?
IMO OpenCollada is not in extern because it is:
- in active development, being constantly improved
- quite big in size

but did not succeed, I still have problems with the include
directories for opencollada! so is there any way to remedy this ?

If you have not already, please recommend to him that he run Photorec on
the drive which contained the Blender installation. Photorec is capable
of recovering deleted .blend files. The names of the files will be
lost, but that is unimportant in a situation like this.
