After having worked on Rigify for a while, and also working on porting
some custom scripts for Overgrowth, I'm really starting to despise the
auto-registration of RNA properties, operators etc.
I think this may be one of those things that is convenient in simple
cases, but is just troublesome in c

Hi, just a heads-up, I've put a patch that modifies the Blender camera
to allow custom sensor sizes, to modify the apparent FOV. Previously
it was hard-coded at a size with no common real-world equivalent,
making it difficult to match real-world footage, or even just
intuitive lens usage.

Hi Ton.
I think that the idea of a "Blender Magazine" is great. Blender has reached,
IMHO, critical mass and the public at large is constantly clamoring for more
content and information. Especially of the "accessible" kind

I recently built Blender and the Blenderplayer on Arch with no problems to
test my save as runtime add-on. I think ffmpeg was enabled too.

Nathan,
What type of builds are preferred??? I've been building BSD versions for
graphicall.org for the past month or so, and there are people downloading,
so I'm happy to do it!
Is a regular self contained .tbz file ok?
Thanks!

Which is a shame, since I use scons for the official builds. And you're
right, it's breaks in source/blender/makesrna/intern/rna_scene.c looking
for ffmpeg include files.

Is there someone to build for FreeBSD? I know Jaevixa McNomera was given the
status of FreeBSD build maintainer but as she's likely to be out of
commission for a while yet is there someone else?
I'm willing to do it if there is not someone and the BF wants it done.
Thanks,

You all probably do it already, just making sure you don't forget to

The only part of the patch needed is the one for Lib/xmlrpc/client.py.

Peter,
I've read through the plugin proposal you wrote way back, and I find no
real issue with it. Why wasn't it implemented? Was it just lack of
resources, or am I missing something?
(Also, I am prototyping a strip-wise renderer, but that's another story.)
