I have a strange issue with OpenEXR in blender. Apparently, it tries
to link both 2.2 and 2.1 versions somehow and blender does not startup
after that. Can someone with ubuntu try rebuilding the dependencies
from scratch with the recent install_deps script and try build blender
with them?

Thanks for the report. I was able to get most of bit to update, but it
would appear the locale was giving me problems as well.
A quick glance shows a second git daemon that is stuck hanging around. Fit
will be down for a bit while I look into what's going on. Sorry for the

While it might not be related as I haven't had time just just to recompile
blender, I was wondering if you may have had some git repos that didn't
update properly due to a hung git daemon on the server?
Might be worth trying to pull once more as I noticed that for some,
blender.git wouldn't
