You don’t really until you add a regular file to a directory. Once the
directory has contents you can just ‘git add directoryName” and it will get
added with the contents.

Thanks Brecht, I like this simple rule. That way even if you only have
one file (and don't know where it came from) you can still know the
license.

There's no alternative shorter header that we use, better to keep the rule
about license headers simple & clear.
