I would be very very interested in following this (or any other bezier
curve-related developments, purely from an end user point of view, no
coding skills to speak of unfortunately.
A trim/extend tool is a long time blender-wishlist item of mine, do you
have a blog, websiet or git repo where I c

This is a developer mailing list, these kind of user questions are
probably better suited for a user forum.

Yes, it's also called and Outliner and it is on the top right corner of
the default Blender window I think.
It probably won't float in front of other windows or stay pinned "always
on top" but you can put it in it's own independent window though.

That would most certainly be a way to achieve it.
What were you thinking, something in the lines of a modifier that simply
converts the curve bevels to a mesh allowing to assign custom material
slots (like 3Ds Max's Edit Poly modifier, I've heard users ask for
something like that before), or mor

Duarte Ramos, and I am seeking a way to sponsor Blender development of a
specific set of features regarding Bezier curve tools by making a
monetary donation for a development grant. I wish to inquire about it's
feasibility and whole way to go about accomplishing it.
TL,DR:

As a user I have though about this many times before, along with 'Face
Groups" too. This would very definitely be an awesome addition.
If modifiers could access this information this could open up lots of
very interesting options and "procedural workflows".

Hello guys I know this is a developers mailing list, don't mean to
intrude but i was meaning to make a Blender bug report and, as a good
citizen, trying to make the mandatory research before submitting a
duplicate or a "it's not a bug it's a feature" but I've been getting
this error whenever I
Sort alphabetically sounds really handy, can't wait to give it a try.
Nest by groups would also be nice, but there's that problem of objects
belonging multiple groups.
Whish there was a sort by 'selectability', 'visibility' and
'renderability'. It is currently very hard (if not impossible) to ma
Yes, I believe what Leon meant was specifying absolute values in actual
Blender units for those operations, as opposed to a factor of edge
length or a percentage value, as it currently works.

I am an architect, and this would most definitely be incredibly useful,

This is a developers mailing list, not a place for feature requests, let
alone ask them to transform Blender into another application.
Anyway, what you want is a new keymap configuration, and you can
configure your own in the user preferences to your liking; a new default
keymap is being worked
Yup, +1 for the change from me too. I always end up wanting to select
the inset face, not the border.
