Hi,
I am Shuvro. In 2010, I have completed GSoC successfully from *YafaRay*.
This year I want to do it from Blender.
Now for getting started, *letterrip* suggested me to implement one/more of
the UV tools listed in this page.
I want to get the properties of an BPI class *without creating instances of
it*.
e.g. for **bpy.types.SpotLamp class I want to extract the properties like
auto_clip_end,auto_clip_start,compression_threshold, ... etc. with the
blender python api.
How can it be done with blender python API?

As far as I know adding grid with letters and numbers requires manipulation
of pixels one by one.
That should not be pretty easy.

I was unable to attend the meeting for the new developers due to some
