Dear all -

I am trying to migrate to URF8 for all my TeX-related work. This means hat I am
both working with files that are encoded in UTF8 and others in Latin1. In
TeXShop, this doesn't cause too many problems, since I can use at the beginning
at the file

% !TEX encoding = UTF-8 Unicode

and TeXShop handles the file accordingly, ignoring the default encoding for
opening files.

Could BibDesk support something like that, too. Having to remember to use the
File -> open dialogue every time I am opening an UTF8-encoded file is not very
convenient. (I almost every time try to double-click, then get the warning
about utf8, ....)

What do you think?
