As far as i know, DK(RFC4870) was obsoleted by DKIM(RFC4871). So
i think it's better starting with DKIM than DK. Here is good guidance

Instead, use FreeBSD without any worry.

Well, i think that is OS-specific issue

Personally, i don't use SPF. Postfix folks don't like that as well,
