I assume that JpegEncoder used to be freeware, though it was a while ago so I don't remember for certain (and I haven't worked on the LIMS stuff since leaving the Whitehead Inst.). As far as the jpeg library for the LIMS stuff- it shouldn't really matter which you use. It's only used in one plac
