Today at 6:00p.m. Kurt Hennige and I found a SNOWY EGRET on the east end KFN
property. It was first seen on the shoreline by the ponds and was last seen
on the gravel bar. Also observed was PEREGRINE FALCON, BRANT and lots of
shorebirds, including SANDERLING, DUNLIN and RUDDY TURNSTONE.

One pair of Red-necked Grebes is once again nesting in the Bronte Outer
Harbour Marina in the same spot as last year. The nest has five eggs as of
this morning. Hatching could occur any time now. The floating tire upon
