This morning at 11:00 with moderate southwest winds, we had 3 juvenile Red
Knots at Rock Point Provincial Park. They were in the rocky/weedy coastline
at the east end of the beaches.
Also, the (a) Cattle Egret was in the last farm field (on the left) with a
pond just before the final right turn of
Presqu'ile Provincial Park benefitted from the passage of two cool
fronts during the past week, each of which was accompanied by a wave of
migrating birds. Some of these birds have remained in the Park,
building up their reserves for the next leg of their migration.

Just prior to sunset today (from about 7:30-8:00) Eastern Kingbirds
roosting in the trees at SW Hillman Marsh were estimated at 400+ birds.
Such sunset concentrations appear to be annual at Hillman Marsh, but most
years I forget to check. Some past counts here include the following:
