Beeton, Don Perks, Jerry Guild and myself journeyed there mid-afternoon to see
if the two birds he had reported were still there. In fact not only were they,
but an additional 7 birds were observed bringing our total t
Betsy, Jim Pawlicki, and I had 16 species of shorebirds at Rock Point today
(Sunday) including a juvenile Western Sandpiper picked out by Jim. We
estimated about 200 shorebirds including 2 Baird's, one White-rumped, four

Hi,
I was in Chrysler Park adjacent to the Chrysler Marina along the St
Lawrence River last evening. Among the several hundred Canada Geese feeding
on the grass were 2 white Snow Geese, quite close to the road. And 2 of the
Canada Geese were quite large compared to the others.

Today (sept. 6th), there was a good assortment of shorebirds at the
Townsend Sewage Lagoons. Species seen were:
2 Juvenile Buff-Breasted Sandpipers- (along the various dry places around the
productive lagoon)
1 Long-billed Dowitcher- A Moulting Adult
1 Short-billed Dowitcher- Juven
A survey of the Beeton sod farms (Southwest of Barrie) today turned two
Buff-breasted Sandpipers. Also present were the following:
American Golden Plover, 69
Semipalmated Plovers, 12
Baird's Sandpiper, 10
Killdeer, 26
Northern Harrier, 1 male

The three Buff-breasted Sandpipers were seen this morning at 8:30am in the
same location as reported by Mark Cranford.
I had great looks at them this morning as the were within a 100 yards of the
