at Coyote Pond : Great egret still there as of yesterday and please note

Coyote Pond lies on the North side of Hyw 7 : 1km East of the Ninth Line
in Markham
At 9:20 a.m. Tom Crooks, Peter Booker, Joyce Lechasseur and myself had a
White-winged Dove fly in and land at the top of a large tree at Shell Park.
The bird was located just south of the first bridge in the park which leads
to the garden allotments The tree is on the west side of the creek. I

Hi Everyone
Today, September 15, 2004 I lead a trip along the Ottawa River between
Shirley's Bay and Deschenes Rapids/Britannia. There was no exposed mudflat due
to the record rainfall last Thursday, so no shorebirds were observed. At
Shirley's Bay we did see 2 Great Egret, 1 imm. Bald
