Hello Southern Birders.
In the last couple of weeks many migrants have passed through..some
still here attacking the feeders with gusto.
Besides the Juncos and typical sparrows a beautiful fox sparrow has been
around for nearly two weeks now. Blue Jays and Gray Jays growing in numbers

off the wall of an 11-storey apt. building on Red River Road, one of the
busiest routes in Thunder Bay. The building is between Arby's and a small bank

Today,October 27,2004, the birding along the Ottawa River continued to be
interesting. This morning there were 3 flocks of male Black Scoters totaling
750+ and 4 Red-throated Loons (3 flying over) were observed off Andrew Haydon

to day, Oct 27, 2004.
Namely: 24 Golden Eagles, and 19 Rough legged Hawks.
Hawk cliff itself is located south of the Dexter Line, east of Port
Stanley On. Proceed to the far parking lot, look for the counter(s).
