Hi Birders: Our first tree swallow of the season was resting on the wires adjacent to the road this morning at 8 am (last year's arrival was Apr. 9). While I was watching the swallow a male northern harrier flew over the road. Also new this morning is a belted kingfisher over Big Creek.

This morning Pelee had a mini-wave of spring migrants. The tip had an E. Towhee, a Tree Swallow, a Field Sparrow, and dozens of E. Phoebes. The parking lot on the W. side near the tip offered a big raft of ducks - mostly Goldeneyes, Greater Scaup and Red-Breasted Mergansers. But there was one
