At 9:45 this morning I discovered a single CAVE SWALLOW coursing over
a stubble field along the North Service Road that parallels the QEW
just west of Glover Access (near QEW exit #78). The bird made a few
passes, then crossed the QEW and continued west (suggesting that
searchers would do well

Black Vulture
The Jaeger that was first reported just over two weeks ago on the Barrie
waterfront in Kempenfelt Bay and was captured by the City of Barrie Animal
Control Officers with help from birders and taken to the OSPCA Rehab Centre in
Midland Friday afternoon, died this morning. I received a call on my

Turkey Vulture
I had a great view of a beautiful male Barrow's Goldeneye among a large
float of Common Goldeneye about 2:30 on Saturday at Millen Road, Stoney
Creek.
Millen Road is between the QEW and Lake Ontario off the north service road
between Fruitland Road and Centennial Parkway.
