today michelle and I saw 6 pine grosbeaks on salem just north of
hwy 7 in the pine trees on the east side of the road and one rusty blackbird
at the backyard feeder at the n.e corner of hwy 7 and salem.

Happy New Year everyone!
Andy Guthrie, Betsy, and I birded the Niagara River from above the falls to
lower Queenston-Lewiston. Relatively very few birds at the power plants but
we had a few adult Iceland Gulls there; no California Gull, however. Very
few Bonaparte's Gulls at the Queenston Boat
Despite missing our connections to the OFO gathering spot this morning, my
sister Eileen and I, found about 50 Bohemian Waxwings just north of
Riverview Zoo. They were high in the trees on the west side of 2621 Water
St/# 28 @ an Auto Sales business. A few Robins were also in the area.

While birding the Holiday Beach area today me and my brother had 3 Turkey
Vultures fly by directly over the restaurant Ducks On The Roof heading east
on Highway 20 or old highway 18 as most of us remember it .

Happy New Year all.
Today I went down to The Spit with Andrew Jano and we did find a few nice
birds including a Double-crested Cormorant flying east up the bay between
Cherry Beach and The Spit. We also found 2 Common Loons, 6 Glaucous Gulls, 1
Northern Flicker, 2 large flocks of American Tree

Have been enjoying a Carolinian Wren, 24 Pine Siskins, 56 American
Goldfinches with one whitish head, 14 Juncos, Downy & Hairy Woodpeckers,
White Breasted Nuthatches, Black Capped Chickadees, House Finches, Mourning
Doves, Blue Jays, Northern Cardinals and the hooting
