We found it! The Snowy Owl seen by Claude and Nina Radley was located today on
the west side of Colonel Talbot Road at 12:15 p.m.
Directions:
from London drive south on Colonel Talbot Road to Littlewood Drive, the traffic
lights just before the 401. Turn right on Littlewood Drive and drive .9
The Yellow-Headed Blackbird was seen this morning at (or near) #23 Manitou
St. in the Community of Forest Park, south of Limoges.Unlike previous weeks,
it was NOT associating with starlings.
Also, the Boreal Chickadee was seen at the same time in front of #23. It was
in a coniferous tree right by
Either a bunch of OFO'ers did not heed the winter storm warnings or were
lead down the garden path with the sunny sunrise. 17 showed up for the trip
this morning. A far cry from the nearly 80 of last year but a nice group to
handle.

No problem finding Snowy Owls on Wolfe Island today. With no snow they
stood out well and we counted a grand total of 12. Most owls were west of
the 7th Line Road. We also observed 5 Red-tailed Hawk, 3 American Kestrel
and 2 Great Horned Owl in the woods at the cemetery. With onl
