This morning at about 10:30 a Grey phased Gyrfalcon was observed with 3 Coopers
and a Sharp-shinned Hawk near the Intersection of the 20th Sideroad and 2nd
Line of Innisfil.The Falcon was last seen flying in a West-Southerly direction

Today Ian Cannell, Jay Peterson, Andrew Jano and I birded the Leslie Street
Spit and for once we had a no wind day. We started out birding through the West
Side of the Base, out to Pipit Point and onto Peninsulas B and C and along the
way we came up with 74 species, including 25 Wate
Terrie Smith and I spent 2 quality hours [9-11 a.m.] staring at the sky today
in our Ajax backyard ...

On Oct.20 a light morph Rough-legged Hawk was spotted at 0945 (after the
counters had left the platform)
Now then today-Oct.21-- I thank all who did the watch--other than a rather
spectacular WHITE-BACKED, PARTIAL ALBINO SONG SPARROW (which was still around
at 1430) no other passerines were list

A rather late Wilson's Phalarope was mingling with Greater and Lesser
Yellowlegs at Blenheim Lagoons today.
There were many ducks, the bulk of which were wigeon.
Back at Rondeau Park early this morning, there were lots of birds, including
