Good day all
Today I took a break and went to hawk Hill in High Park because I foolishly
believed the weather forecast but despite the not so good winds we did see some
nice birds.
Over 250 raptors were seen overhead with the high light being 7 Eagles - 6
juvenile Bald Eagles and 1 Unidentif

Today, Common Redpolls joined the Dark-Eyed Junco's, American Tree Sparrows,
Pine Siskins, Purple Finches,
Evening Grosbeaks, remaining White Crowns and the hordes of Blue Jays at the
feeding stations.

near the entrance to Hillman Marsh today.

Greetings birders thought people may be interested that 2 pine grosbeaks
were sighted at the Hilliardton marsh last Saturday and today we watched a
flock of 15 eating sunflower seeds near the banding shed. Hilliardton marsh
is located 15 km from NewLiskeard Ontario which 5 .5 hours north of Toront
Two days ago I had a Carolina Wren on my back porch. He or she was back
this afternoon (4:00 p.m.) in my front yard, perched on top of the mulberry
tree close to the house.
I live at 31 Colonel Butler Drive, which reached via Radford Drive, the
first turn south off Delmark Ave., running west o
White Faced Ibis spotted today?at 12:20??on north side of Hillman
Bridge/Leamington where it has been previously spotted. It is in the marsh with
some Egrets.
DIRECTIONS: From Leamington:Take Oak Street east out of the town. When you see
the entrance for Hillman Marsh just keep going a little
A flock of 100-150 Brant was flying up the Ottawa River this morning in
a strange zigzag fashion. It looked like they might come down but then
decided to keep going. Worth keeping an eye out for them in case they do
land. I spotted them around 9:15 just west of the Champlain Bridge.
