Today at 2 pm, a few birders saw the American White Pelican at
Hamilton Harbour. The bird was on land, surrounded by, and at times
virtually concealed by, double-crested cormorants at the easterly end
of the small middle island to the north of the Canada Centre for

Sunday's outing was attended by 25 participants. We saw a total of 71 species. The trip started at 0800 hours and ended at 1430 hours.

Today (Aug. 10) only one juv. Black-legged Kittiwake was seen by myself &
many other observers at the large quarry pond on Moodie Dr. south of
Cambrian/Trail Rd.
