Hello all,
The Red-bellied woodpecker has been visiting my suet feeder on and off all day
all week and since Monday, I have had about 10 Pine Siskins arguing with the
American goldfinches about who gets to sit on the sunflower seed feeder.
My feeders are located at the main Kettle Creek
Hi Everyone,
Spent the past two days birding Amherst Island. Weather conditions were
highly variable including snow, wind and extremely cold tempuratures. Despite
all of that, the birding was excellent. Yesterday, January 13th we observed 6
Northern Saw-whets, 3 Boreals,
9 Long-eared and 4
I braved the below 0 (Fahrenheit) temperatures this morning along with Bruce Di
Labio and Marilyn MacIvor and her husband. The south approach is still open
but just barely.
By the time we got separated we had found 1 Boreal Owl and 5 Saw-whets and
Bruce had counted at least 19 Long-eared
