This is a second-hand report of an American White Pelican that was on
Owen Point at Presqu'ile Provincial Park late yesterday afternoon (July
18). I learned of the sighting only this morning from two observers who
had been shown the bird through a scope by the person who had seen it
fly in and

An adult American White Pelican landed in Presu'ile Provincial Park
yesterday 7/18/09. The bird flew in at 4:10pm and landed on the spit at
Owens's Point where it promptly preened and slept. It was last seen still
sleeping on the spit at 8:4
