My mother and I would like to bird the Presquile Area next weekend, and I was
hoping that some friendly ONTbirders could give some suggestions as to the best
places to bird, both within the provincial park and around it. I know that

Black Vulture
At Shirley's Bay, Marbled Godwit, Long-billed Dowitcher (2), and Stilt
Sandpiper remained present Saturday evening. This despite some rise in
water-levels, covering most of the mudflats there.

I spent a couple of hours watching the Marbled Godwit and other shorebirds
on the mudflats behind the Connaught Firing Range today. Other than taking

This morning Ed Daudrich and I birded Mud Lake. Our highlight was a
great up-close view of an Orange-crowned Warbler on the trail that
connects the main trail around Mud Lake with Rowatt Street. At least 9
